PTA set to fly the flag for postcards at major antiques show

The Postcard Traders Association (PTA), supported by PPM, will showcase the hobby at a major four-day antiques show next month (July).

It has accepted a generous invitation from the organisers of Art and Antiques for Everyone to mount a postcard display in Halls 17-18 at the NEC Birmingham from July 18-21.

The event will feature 180 antique dealers in the largest vetted fair outside London for the widest range of antiques, art and decorative interior pieces.

There are not expected to be any postcard dealers at the event.

But Campbell McCuthcheon, one of the country’s top postcard dealers, will be co-ordinating a special exhibition of rare, vintage, classic and collectable cards which will no doubt introduce many visitors to the world of postcards.

His display will focus on postcards/artefacts of the RMS Titanic alongside many popular themes and modern cards.

Free back copies of PPM will also be given away.
