Comic cards under the spotlight in postcard magazine

The January edition of Picture Postcard Monthly, now the world’s only dedicated printed magazine for the hobby, has a special look at comic postcards.

We publish the results of our first ‘Great Gags Gallery’ – in which readers were invited to submit their favourite funny card with a few words to explain their choice.

We also review the postcard year of 2019.

Other special features include a look at cards from Sefton, the Merseyside metropolitan borough; the ‘forgotten’ cards of French publish Levy and Sons; the postcard art of Joseph Pike; cards produced of the rugby Union world cups; and the day the Pictorial Stationary Company ended up in court in a case against a small Cornish hotel.

There is also our usual look at the moderns scene, your letters’ pages and your news and views.
