Countdown is under way for the 500th edition of the world’s only monthly dedicated printed postcard magazine.
This December will mark the special milestone for Picture Postcard Magazine, which has readers in 23 countries outside the UK and is printed in Portsmouth.
And to celebrate, we have launched a competition in our March 2020 edition, which is on sale now, for the man or woman who does most to keep the hobby afloat in Britain.
We will announce the winner, the PPM Postcard Champion, in our December issue.
We have asked readers for nominations who may be a fair organiser or helper, someone who sells postcards to raise vital funds for charity, a stalwart member of a postcard club either past or present, a favourite PPM columnist or perhaps a local historian who has used postcards to widen the hobby’s appeal.
The nomination form is available in the latest issue of the magazine, or you can request one on line.
June 1 is the deadline for entries.
